Please try to read with your child for 15 minutes each evening. (Read aloud to them or have them read aloud to you if they are able.) Ask them questions about the story to help prepare for the Reading/Listening Comprehension test on Thursday.

Combining Vowels with Pp, Bb, Cc, Ff,
Reading words with short U,u
Phonics rules:
“When there is 1 vowel in a word it usually says its short sound. Mark it with a smile.”
“K comes before “i” and “e”, C before the other three; “a”, “o”, “u”.”
We will be having a Phonics Test on Wednesday and a Reading/Listening Comprehension test on Thursday
The Phonics test will cover consonants Bb through Pp
